Guilds
Guilds have been reworked from the ground up to bring new features and to synchronize them across the whole network. Now you can interact with guilds from anywhere on the network. As part of this rework, existing guilds have been wiped.
If your guild had at least 100 members *or* 50k guild points, the guild name and tag have been reserved for 30 days for its owner. You can automatically reclaim them just by creating your guild again.
Once you get on, use `/guild` to get started, and `/guild help` for some more information.
Guild Menu
A centralized and user-friendly guild menu where you will spend most of your time when viewing or managing your guild.
You can manage your members, allies, roles, options, and more, all through the menu.
Points and Leaderboard
Point leaderboards have now been enhanced to include Daily, Weekly, and Monthly rankings!
In addition to that, the top 10 guilds for the Weekly and Monthly leaderboards will receive rewards automatically, which you can spend in the...
Guild Shop
A brand new guild shop has been added which allows you to upgrade your guild with the coins it earns.
In the shop, you can find member capacity upgrades (up to 1,000 members!), ally slots, and role slots. In addition to upgrades, you can purchase tag colours individually (including some new ones, like gradient tags!).
Roles
Guild roles used to be pretty bland and were the same across guilds. This update introduces customizable guild roles! Rename, reorder, and change the permissions of up to 7 total guild roles.
And permissions! You can pick and choose what a guild role can do. Want one that can use guild callouts and kick members? Or another that can mute members and change the MOTD? You can do all of that!
Milestones
We get that most guilds won’t be big enough to make it to the leaderboards. We still want everyone to eventually be able to use the guild shop, so we introduced milestones.
Milestones are a way for your guild to mostly passively earn guild coins, with rewards paid out every 2 weeks. Just invite a few friends and play Stray!
Audit Logs
Guilds keep receipts now. Want to know who kicked that member or who keeps changing the guild tag colour? Audit logs can show you all of that.
Audit logs show pretty much everything that happens in a guild. Role changes, member invitations or kicks, ally management, shop purchases, and tons more.
Smaller things
- Guild name and tag changes have a cooldown of 7 days, but are reserved for you to reclaim for 10 days.
- Added an option to mute your entire guild’s chat (roles with a permission can bypass this).
- Guild chat now shows your guild role, and ally chat shows which guild someone belongs to.
- The member list shows you a lot of info about a member, such as milestone contributions, so you can see how active your members are.
- Privileged members can individually mute other members from guild and ally chats.
- Kills on NethPot or DiaPot will now award more points to balance things out.
- Larger guilds will now need to wait 24 hours before the guild is actually disbanded (it’s also cancellable).
- You can now enable guild tags in the tablist, or hide them from nametags.
- Guild callouts are now network-wide, and also have a cooldown (phew).
